Terms & Conditions

1. Parent/Guardian Consent

I am the parent/guardian of the participant and give permission for them to participate in the FTW Hoops Basketball Camp on 17 May 2026.

2. Age Eligibility

This camp is strictly for participants aged 10–15 years old as of 17 May 2026. If a registration is made for someone outside this age range, please contact us at forthewinhoops@gmail.com and we will work to find a suitable solution.

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand that basketball is a physical activity involving running, jumping, agility movements, and potential contact with other participants, equipment, or the court surface. I accept all inherent risks of participation, including but not limited to sprains, strains, bruising, falls, collisions, and heat-related issues. FTW Hoops holds public liability insurance for this event. I agree that FTW Hoops, its coaches, assistants, organisers, and the venue are not responsible for accidental injury, except in cases of proven negligence.

4. Medical Information & Fitness to Participate

I confirm that all relevant medical information including allergies, asthma, medications, injuries, or other health needs has been accurately disclosed. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure the participant is physically fit and able to safely engage in the camp activities. FTW Hoops is not liable for complications resulting from missing or incorrect medical information.

5. Emergency Treatment Authorisation

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorise FTW Hoops staff to administer basic first aid and, if necessary, seek further medical assistance including ambulance transport. I accept responsibility for any medical or ambulance costs incurred.

6. Behaviour Expectations & Removal From Camp

Participants must behave respectfully and follow coach instructions to maintain a safe environment. FTW Hoops reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour endangers themselves or others or significantly disrupts the session. No refunds will be issued for removal due to behaviour.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Due to the proximity of the camp date, no refunds will be issued for cancellations. If you have any concerns please contact us at forthewinhoops@gmail.com.

8. Photo & Video Permission

I give permission for FTW Hoops to take photos and videos of the participant during the camp for use on social media and promotional material. No identifying information such as full names will be publicly shared.

9. Personal Belongings

FTW Hoops is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to the venue.

10. Schedule, Venue, and Coach Changes

FTW Hoops reserves the right to adjust the schedule, coaching staff, or venue setup if required due to injury, illness, venue availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any significant changes will be communicated via the parent/guardian's email.

11. Liability Release

By submitting the registration and payment, I release FTW Hoops, its coaches, assistants, organisers, and the venue from liability for accidental injuries, loss of property, or damages occurring during participation, except in cases of proven negligence.
